The kitchen looks marvelous! I’m so thrilled with it! We moved a cabinet that was an annoyance to access the master bedroom. We took out the major threshold to the master bedroom, also. So, now its much easier on Tom than before.

And, we found 3 gallons of lighter paints that came with the house to repaint the living room, which also looks amazing. It brightened it up significantly and made it look so much cleaner.

James is working on finding a fireplace insert to replace ours.

The lawn was mowed and weed-eated (yeah, its not a word – deal with it).

Two more small truck loads of boxes were moved over today.

We haven’t even started to come close to unpacking boxes, but it already is starting to feel like home!!

Tomorrow, I work. Again. Blah. Then, I’m stopping by my mom’s to pick up the truck and going to the apartment to pack up more stuff.

While I’m at work, Bill and Lisa are going to paint the master bedroom and the main bathroom. We’re not going to mess with the other two bedrooms, they look fine enough. If they are motivated enough, they will paint the half bath and the trim in the guest room (because whomever painted the room before hit the woodwork so many times!).

Lisa will then meet me at the apartment to help pack some more. My aunts are supposed to help out too, but I’m not sure where we’ll be when they get out of church.

We might actually be able to move in some furniture tomorrow! Which was my goal all along, although I don’t know how I would of been able to do it if it hadn’t of been for all the wonderful people helping out!!

Gosh, I just don’t know how to say thank you enough to everyone. It really means a lot to me.

I offically own a house!!

We steam cleaned some rooms today, and cleaned up the house. It just really needed a good wipe down, and its already improved lots.

My Aunt and my friend are going over tomorrow morning to paint the kitchen (one of the rooms that needs paint the worst), and I will meet them after work.

I wish it weren’t raining. But, what can ya do?

Is there something about ‘good luck to move when its raining’?

I’ve been running since 9 am, and tonight is program night. So, I’m outta here for now.

I can’t wait to stay the night in my new house!!

Some one asked me what we’re doing tonight. We’re cleaning up, basically. And, showing people the new place of course.

We probably won’t paint until tomorrow.

And we probably won’t start moving anything until Sunday.

I believe that as soon as I close on Friday, I will be coming back home to drop off keys with Tom, and then heading off to work. I will be at the apartment at 5 on Friday – ready to leave to go to the new house. My aunt and a friend are going to follow me over. If anyone else wants to caravan, meet at the apartment before 5 tomorrow. If you want to go over earlier, call Tom and see where he is.

Hope all the utilities will be on!!

Has anyone been keeping up with the One Red Paperclip dude? He just traded a year of free rent in Phoenix for an entire day with Alice Cooper! I think that’s a pretty decent trade. And, in my opinion, he just might be able to trade Alice for a house! And, all of this started in July of ‘05?! Thats pretty crazy.

I got final approval from the underwriters.

I’m really closing on Friday.

They’ll be redoing the windows probably until the first. We can still move stuff in before that, though.

I’d love to be able to paint before we get in there, but we don’t have any paint. Or any money for paint. So, that’ll have to wait.

Anyhow – I’m really scattered right now. Angie and I agreed to go car shopping today. So, maybe she’ll have a new car to move stuff over to my new house?!

EDIT: I’ve been told they’re already doing the windows, now. So, we should be good to go on Friday. I need to finish packing…
