I took some photos, but none of them really show the layout of the house well at all. Gosh darn it, all my rooms are too large to fit in the camera lense. This photo is from directly inside my front door, looking to the left a smidge.

Thats the bathroom door, a built in shelf, and the entrance to the kitchen. The master bedroom is off the kitchen. The other two bedrooms are down a hallway to the left.

Oh, and those puzzle pieces are the ones I cursed at several times as you read about previously.

* Urologist – whoopie! The drive there was pretty decent, actually. Thank goodness they did all that work on the highway. Our little two lane highway is a little bumpy, though. But, I think they’re going to start working on that asap. Tom took his GPS unit and kept track of the roads and shops that were labeled. Of course, its not the same as looking out the window while driving (Tom’s chair sits up too high in the van – all he can see is the sides of the road.) We need to find a way to get him into the convertible on this gravel driveway! Doesn’t sound easy, if you ask me.

* License Bureau – In and out, AGAIN! Amazing. Of course, if I had not thought to look for my insurance card before I had gone, I would of been very upset. For some reason, I did not have my new card! The old one expired in January. Hm – glad I haven’t needed it these last couple months.

* Burn permit – Not allowed. Darn it. Of course, it would of been nice to know before I drove into town to fill out the paperwork. And, I had called before hand… of course they didn’t mention it then! Now, what to do with all this brush?

* Bank – for some reason, I keep depositing money, but my balance isn’t getting any larger. In fact, it keeps shrinking!! Of course, that could be due to bills. Hopefully after this crazy month, I’ll be able to figure out exactly where I stand, and be able to budget properly. If I’m lucky, I’ll be able to deposit $2.00 into savings each month.

Tomorrow we make our first trek to the urologist from the new house. Its a routine catheter change. No big deal. Not real happy about having to travel with Tom’s pressure wound, though. But, we’re already a week overdue because of the state coming last week.

Tom got up in his chair for a couple hours yesterday, just to break the monotony of being in bed. You know, trying to prevent him or myself going insane… seemed to work alright. Tom’s been in bed all day today without complaining too much.

I haven’t looked at the wound today. I will in a little bit. I hope its doing alright still. Man, I think I hate pressure wounds as much as Tom does.

I got sucked into a Deadliest Catch marathon. I don’t know why I enjoy that show so much. Its almost as addictive as MythBusters. And, yes, I realize those are two totally different concepts… But, if either one are on, you might as well just count me absent for the day.

Uhm, yeah, I think that’s about all I did today. Rather ridiculous.

Happy Memorial Day. I hope everyone spent lots of time in the sun and got horrendous sun burns so I don’t feel so bad for missing it all.

I got nothin’.

Its hot.

Work is slow (well, my area of work).

Tom’s staying in bed to heal the wound faster. It seems to be working so far. No leaps or bounds, but slowly improving.

That’s about it.

Our company left around noon today.

It was so nice to be able to offer our guest room.

The last time he came up, he was squashed in our living room, on the floor. I assume he was much more comfortable during this visit.

Tom’s pressure wound suffered a little because he wanted to be up in his chair for our visitor. I don’t blame Tom for wanting to be up in his chair. Now we must confine Tom to bed to get this healed before the 17th. Pray for good results fast, please.

Its the start of the holiday weekend. Blah. Holidays aren’t very exciting around here anymore.

BTW – these were taken before I met Tom. So, I don’t know much about them. It was one of their last concerts before Brian (the bassist) passed away.
