I still don’t feel superb.

So, I’m cheating and sending you over to another of my blogs, to check out a post.

I would really like to know what the item is that I’ve posted about.  I’m sure someone out there knows someone that would know what this is.

By clicking on the photo, you’ll be taken to my flickr account.  There are measurements listed there, and two other photos to look at.

Feel free to post the link on your blog – at the very least, we should be able to giggle at some people’s answers, right?

Why do I have a fever?

Why do I feel like I’m a bobble head?

Why do my lungs feel like I’ve been inhaling sand?

Why does it happen on a night where I can’t go to sleep when I want?

Why did I not go to the store yesterday when I felt a little better than this?

Why did I allow myself to run out of things that I need tonight.

Remember just a couple posts down? The cute little story about my desk?

I got to talking to Kentucky Girl tonight. She was saying how her desk was a mess, and showed me the one piece of paper out of place via her web cam. I laughed hysterically at her ‘mess’.

I told her I’d show her a picture.

It was my birthday yesterday.

I turned 31.

*insert overly sarcastic jump for joy here*

I don’t have anything against my birthday, or turning 31 or birthdays in general.

I do get antsy when my birthday rolls around because I know I don’t have money to buy anyone anything for their birthday, so I feel bad if anyone buys me anything.

I’m not going to re-read that sentence.  I hope it made sense.  For some reason, I had a hard time phrasing it.

Anyway – I went and visited my mom and sister yesterday.  We had cheesecake.  It was gooooood.

And, past that, the day was pretty average.

I do want to thank everyone again who left me a birthday comment, put something on their own blogs, wrote on my wall on Facebook or emailed me.  It was really a wonderful gesture.

I love the ‘little things’.  They really make me smile.

Today, Tom’s mom and Trish came over.  They brought brownies and ice cream.  (Also goooood.)

As for blogging lately, I’ve still got nothin’.

Someone give me a topic to write about or a question to answer, and I’ll see what I can pull off.

…or something like that, there was a girl named Sheila. Sheila was very distraught with the mess that is called her desk.

Sheila often stared at her desk while surfing the ‘net, and thought, “Holy smokes, did the apocalypse occur, making my desk a natural disaster area?”

Yet, Sheila did nothing about it. Because, that would require motivation… And, we all know that Sheila isn’t incredibly motivated.

One day, the top of Sheila’s desk was almost completely covered by crap. Sheila continued to eyeball the piles that seemed to grow on their own while continuing to surf the ‘net. She contemplated the loitering of the stacks of paper, and started to shuffle some items around.

Then, off in the not-so-distant distance, Sheila could hear Tom stir quietly in his sleep.

Alas, by not wanting to wake the peaceful creature, Sheila was left to stare at the landfill desk, knowing full well that she would not be motivated to clean it tomorrow.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I have nothing vaguely interesting to talk about here lately. I’ve actually have thought about this for some time now.

I keep hoping for something interesting to happen at work – nothing. I watch carefully while I’m at the supermarket for an annoying child or adult – nothing. I’ve not been nearly killed by any overly stupid drivers.

Nothing.

I suppose I should be content. Which, really, I am.

But, it makes for horrible posts.
