It was my birthday yesterday.
I turned 31.
*insert overly sarcastic jump for joy here*
I don’t have anything against my birthday, or turning 31 or birthdays in general.
I do get antsy when my birthday rolls around because I know I don’t have money to buy anyone anything for their birthday, so I feel bad if anyone buys me anything.
I’m not going to re-read that sentence. I hope it made sense. For some reason, I had a hard time phrasing it.
Anyway - I went and visited my mom and sister yesterday. We had cheesecake. It was gooooood.
And, past that, the day was pretty average.
I do want to thank everyone again who left me a birthday comment, put something on their own blogs, wrote on my wall on Facebook or emailed me. It was really a wonderful gesture.
I love the ‘little things’. They really make me smile.
Today, Tom’s mom and Trish came over. They brought brownies and ice cream. (Also goooood.)
As for blogging lately, I’ve still got nothin’.
Someone give me a topic to write about or a question to answer, and I’ll see what I can pull off.

Um, I would like you to write about why the government sucks at making it easy to get student loans. If you could research this and see why it sucks and then perhaps give a summary on why or how you think they could make it more simple. Because let me tell you what it is not and it should be because I have good grades darn it and I am a good person! And well people like me, ok well most of the time.
