- I find it incredibly odd that someone googled ‘mature boobs on flickr’ and made their way to my blog. Seriously? Does this sound anything like me or my blog content? Strange.
- I bought the movie Enchanted and still haven’t watched it yet. Watching a movie isn’t something I like to rush. I like to snuggle in and laze around while watching and after I’m done with a movie. I’ve not really had time to do that yet.
- I bought a new blow dryer, a flat iron, and some goop for my hair. These three things somehow made my hair look amazing when the chick at the salon used them. I’m not a girlie girl and don’t know how to work these devices properly. I wonder how it’ll look when I’m done. (PS – I don’t even know if the ‘goop’ I got is the ‘goop’ she used at the salon.)
- This may be comical.
- (How is it that I can decorate millions of cakes, but I have no comprehension of how to use a circular brush, let alone lacking the dexterity to operate one?!)
- Project Maintaining Eyebrows is a little underwhelming yet potentially hazardous, in my opinion. There hasn’t been a lot to maintain, therefore I can see myself getting lax in maintaining them and having to religiously pay someone else to wax them.
- The St. John’s Wort has definitely improved my sleeping since I’ve started taking it. The first two nights I took it, my eyes were glued shut the next days. Very interesting, if you ask me. I don’t know if its the St. John’s Wort that has eased my anxiety, or the fact that I had just had a major melt down before I started taking it, but I’m feeling a little better.
- I purchased a new computer tower on Tuesday. All that Vista stuff is a little irksome at the very beginning, but overall I’m enjoying my new tower. Don’t ask me for specifics on it, I don’t know. Oh, okay… its this one. Considering I don’t do anything important on my computer and that I have a decent sized external hard drive, this one seemed just fine to me. Its all Greek to me, anyhow.
- Elizabeth’s bridal shower is Saturday. We’re having a wine tasting and she’s going to open presents. We’re going to go out for a couple drinks afterwards. Okay, in saying ‘We’, I mean ’she’. I’m Elizabeth’s DD. I sure hope she has a great time and gets lots of good presents! I’ll be taking photos, but won’t promise any of them will get put on the ‘net. We’ll have to see.
- Tom updated his blog. Which, obviously, is the reason that I’m updating mine. I can’t let him have a newer post than me. It’ll give me a complex. (I’m totally kidding. Well, about the ‘complex’ part, anyhow.) Go tell him hello. Maybe it’ll convince him to blog more…

Today was spent with Elizabeth. We got pedicures. We did a little bit of shopping.
Then we decided to get our eyebrows waxed and I got my hair chopped off. It had been two years since I cut my hair last, and 10 inches grew in that time. I purposefully wait until its long enough to donate.
The waxing of the eyebrows… yeah, that was my first time. Minor ‘owie’ there. My skin was so red that I felt like I was a 1980’s glam rocker with pink eye shadow. But, my newly shaped eyebrows made it all worth it. Its amazing how groomed eyebrows can make a person look so different. I’m maintaining these beauties, thats for sure.
A photo, you ask? Okay.

After giving myself an anxiety attack today from having indigestion so bad that I convinced myself I was having a heart attack, I’ve decided to start taking St. John’s Wort. I’m not a big pill person. At all. Yet at the same time, I used to never have anxiety issues.
I’ve substantially freaked myself out a couple times recently. To the point where I felt the need to go to the emergency room for a doctor to tell me that I was truly having an anxiety attack instead of whatever delusion I was trying to convince myself I was not having… (I’m sure that didn’t make any sense, really. Just humor me.)
Anyway, I’m going to give this a couple weeks and see if it helps.
Has anyone else used this? Has it worked for you, or was it a waste of time?
Please don’t give me any horror stories about St. John’s Wort, though. Remember, I’m taking this in hopes of easing anxiety. Don’t help me create more.
PS – I know there are great anti-anxiety prescriptions out there. But, let us all remember that I don’t have insurance. So, going to a doctor isn’t the best option for me, let alone paying outright for a prescription… Are you pickin’ up what I’m layin’ down?
PPS – Hey, Elizabeth, my jammies are uber comfy and extra cute. Thanks a billionzillionlots and stuff.
I’m getting new tires tomorrow!
It’s gunna be better than Christmas!
(I’ve been driving on some pretty horrible tires for a long while now.)
This weekend was very productive. I was away from the house pretty much all day on Saturday helping Elizabeth get the last little things bought for the wedding. Well, we hope, anyhow. I’m sure that if Elizabeth never sees another wedding section of craft store, she will be satisfied. I can’t say that I blame her.
My calendar is slowly being covered with dates for fine tuning of wedding details, especially since we’re less than 6 weeks out. Boys don’t understand all the time that goes into the planning of this stuff. Tom is wondering if he’ll see me home on a Saturday any time soon.
Doubtful, dear, doubtful.
Was there anything at your wedding that you wished you would of done differently, or didn’t even think to plan for until it happened?
Is it a bad sign when your water company doesn’t know why your neighborhood doesn’t have water?
I’d think so.
- It’s March. Did you know that?
- I’ve not posted on my blog for centuries now.
- I had been without television and internet for almost 2 whole days.
- It really sucked.
- It’s better now.
- My cat is staring at me. He thinks he’s hungry. He’s got two more hours until he gets fed.
- We had two beautiful days nearly summer-like weather here before dropping below freezing again.
- My car was so dirty that, after washing it, I believe it goes faster since so much weight has been lifted off of it.
- I feel like I still have nothing important to post about.
- I’ll try harder some other time.
- Just take this as a note stating that I am still alive.
- Basically.
- Mostly.
- I guess.
