i have no idea if the typing I did in the first tow fields will show up, white on yellow is just plain MEAN

Avitable – If you’re talking about a grant that will match funds, I’ve not applied for one yet. The ChipIn goal is to pay for a used van outright. The money that is raised will be put into its own bank account, so if the goal is not reached by such-in-such date… well, we’ll just continue to slowly build up funds and place them in the same bank account. The only reason there is a goal date is because ChipIn made me enter one.

I was just wondering about the Chipin site, mainly. If they only release the funds to you if you reach your goal, which would be shitty, or if they release the funds whenever you request, which would be non-shitty.

Ah. It goes directly to my paypal account. So, its immediately released – well, as soon as paypal confirms the money is really there. ChipIn is basically just a pretty site that shows progress… not the actual money handler.
