  • The new van is still pretty and still wonderful.
  • Tom calls it his limousine.
  • We’ve been struggling to find things to do without the use of money, since we’re broke.
  • No one wants to buy the old van for more than $600.
  • We were really hoping to get at least $1000 for the clunker.
  • The money from the sale of the old van will be immediately sunk into our propane tank.
  • Yay.  <—- sarcasm
  • I haven’t been tweeting or posting lately because, well, I just don’t have anything important to say.
  • I have successfully gotten 3 out of 5 of my dad’s siblings to create facebook accounts.
  • I find that very entertaining.
  • Perhaps I should hold bi-monthly facebook lessons for my mom and my aunts… lol!
  • We really wanted to get out on the town today, but Tom’s body would not cooperate.  He felt miserable up in his chair, so had to get back into bed.
  • He’s feeling much better now.
  • We made a routine doctors appointment for him next Tuesday.
  • Which means we’ll have an excuse to get out next week.
  • I’m frustrated that the coke rewards site has changed their points limit to 120 a week instead of 100 a day.  Now I’m sitting on a whole bunch of points that I can’t enter because I’ve already reached my 120 limit this week.
  • We did get a food processor and a dust buster-type thingee from the coke rewards sight.  Not that we’ve used either yet… but, by golly, we have them.
  • We were going to go geocaching today, but Tom’s GPS didn’t want to download any waypoints.  I don’t think his GPS and Vista are friends.  (of course, that whole Tom not feeling well thing didn’t help either)
  • We bought one cherry tree that is almost 5 feet tall the other day.
  • We did not know you needed two cherry trees to make cherries.
  • We do not have the money to buy a second cherry tree.
  • We need milk.
  • We’re low on Diet Coke.
  • The sun is setting.
  • There is a squirrel in my driveway.
  • I think one of the neighborhood dogs has mange.
  • I don’t know what mange is.
  • I only think the dog has mange because I heard one of the neighbors yell to another neighbor, “You know that dog probably has mange, right?”
  • I could google it, but I don’t wanna.
  • I want some cereal and milk.
  • Or some corned beef and cabbage.
  • Oh yeah, Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
  • Uhm…
  • Uhm…
  • Uhm…
  • Okay, thats it for now.
  • See ya.

  1. yeah, i’m kinda at loose ends myself. Glad Tom’s feeling better. Wow, you guys must drink diet coke like water! I was on that rewards site and finally just donated all my points, like maybe 50?, because it was taking me too long. BUT I have discovered that I LOVE Coke Zero and may go back and join again. Or I could email the code thingies to you and YOU could use them? Let me know!
    Happy St. Pat’s!

  2. if there are cherry trees within a mile (I think…it’s a mile for apple) chances are good your tree will still produce fruit. Not as good as if you had two trees though.

This is being finger pecked on the itouch, so excusse any and all typos.

I’m concerned that you feel you need to have something important to say to use Twitter or post on blogs. I NEVER have anything important to say!!

  3. phinz – I’m the diet coke drinker, and have several people who save their points for me. I don’t think your points expire, so you could slowly add them and work up to something cool. If you want to send yours this way, you can email them to me at seriouslysheila at gmail dot com

blue – within a mile? seriously? hm… the neighbor next door has all sorts of fruit trees, but don’t know if I’ve seen a cherry one over there…

  4. I read. I commented. I’m ready for vacation! Facebook wouldnt let me in yesterday.

Tracey’s last blog post..Update from New Kitty.

  5. I’ll comment, but don’t expect me to have anything important to say.

    Nobody’s last blog post..2,000 Feet

  6. happy st. patricks day… uhm, yeah, that’s it for now.

  7. Tell me more about this GPS problem. What model do you have? Have you asked in the Geocaching.com forums? Vista can be a prick sometimes.

    Nobody’s last blog post..2,000 Feet

  8. Tracey – I’m impressed. I didn’t think the title would work!!

Nobody – I totally understand. I quite often have the same problem!

    UJB – Works for me!

Nobody – Tom has a Garmin 60CS. I don’t know what his problem is / was with it. I thought it was a software issue, but now he’s telling me that he was just wanting the most up to date mapping. I thought there was a more complex problem than that. I’ll keep you posted.
