There’s nothing to tell yet.
They’re inducing at 6 AM. Trish is really not excited about not being able to get out of bed (cuz of whatever medicine it is that helps loose the cervix).
I’ll update you as soon as I know something.

There’s nothing going on around here.
I’m just waiting patiently for Tom’s van to be fixed, Ed McMann to knock on my door, or Trish to go into labor.
Ooh, which reminds me, I should probably enter the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes if I’m going to be holding my breath for Ed to show up.
Yup, that’s what I’m going to do now.
Please, don’t enter. You’ll lower my chances in winning.
And, if you’re really bored, click over to my other blog.
Please.
Pleeeeeeeease.
Pretty pretty please?
It all started last Wednesday night, when on a whim, Trish and I decided to go to the boats. It was about 9 PM before we had even discussed going, and at least 10 PM before we got to Ameristar. Of course, I have no money. So, Trish handed me some cash and we went on our merry ways. Normally, one of us wins while the other loses. That night started out very similar to all the others, until we sat down at the Goldfish penny slots and both of us proceeded to do well for a long time. Its the longest I’ve ever sat at a machine. I ended up cashing out with enough money to pay back Trish and hold on to almost twice that. Ah! Enough money to buy Trish a baby shower present! Yay!
Elizabeth and I spend a lot of time together over the next couple of days. We literally saw each other on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Which, if you knew her schedule, you’d understand how impressive that is! We get our present bought for Trish’s shower after having to put several things back because we were going way over budget. Baby things are so cute, its hard to not spend millions in one trip!!
Saturday I have to buy my bridesmaid dress for Elizabeth’s wedding in April. I fit into a smaller size than I expected, although I still need to loose a couple of pounds. Well, I need to loose a lot of weight, but just a couple pounds for the dress to fit a little nicer.
Sunday is Trish’s baby shower. Trish, Renee, Elizabeth and I definitely thought we should hang out again soon. I think the four of us together could be entertaining to watch. The baby shower was awesome of course. My quilt was a hit, although I totally outed myself on the parts that I got help with (that beautiful pillow was not even thought of by me! and the binding… yeah, not me either).
Monday I went to Trish’s and helped put stuff together and move things around after dropping Tom’s van off at the garage. Trish and Dona took me home later that evening and visited with Tom for a while before heading out.
I’ve finally slowed down a little bit. Yesterday didn’t hold any plans, and I think the same will happen today. I’m going to have to pick up the van sometime today because Tom has a doctor’s appointment tomorrow. Trish also has an ultra sound tomorrow that, if our schedule works out, I’ll be going to also.
Wow, I’m exhausted all over again just by typing all that out… I’m going to take a nap.
I’m around.
I’ve been a little busy this week.
I’ll tell ya about it later.
Like, maybe later tonight. Maybe tomorrow.
Ooh, and today is Trish’s baby shower. Maybe I’ll post some pictures on her blog tomorrow?
We finally got some better pictures taken of the nursery tonight. Check them out over at Trish’s blog.
And…
finally…
Blogarita tagged me with this a while ago. I’ve just now got my head on straight enough to tackle it! Sorry it took so long.

7 Random Facts About Myself
Seven people?! Geez - uhm - thats a lot of people. I don’t know that I know seven people that’ll do a meme. How about, if you’re interested, lemme know in the comments and I’ll link you here!
PS - Please don’t forget to check out my second blog. I promise it won’t kill you to just click the link!
Cable is so much faster than satellite.
Helped paint most of the nursery for Trish tonight. There’s more to do, but we lost motivation. It was getting late, anyhow.
Super tired. Going to bed early tonight.
(It’s a Peter Paul and Mary song. I promise. I swear! Angie, back me up on this one…)
Anyway - point being, I got my car inspected and licensed today. All done within an hour and a half, including flipping travel time into LS and back! OMG, do you believe it?! Amazing, isn’t it. You’re jealous.
While getting my car inspected, the mechanics (whom knew my dad well) kept asking me why the convertible top wasn’t down on my car today. Believe me, it was the perfect day for it too!
I quickly and truly answered, “Cuz it won’t go down anymore.”
The two nodded in agreement that it was a good reason to not have it down, then asked why I hadn’t had it fixed.
I honestly explained that the Saab dealership wasn’t exactly in my price range, and asked if they knew of some place that would look at it for me.
One of them gets a bright idea, and goes out into the garage. Turns out one of their employees used to work at a similar dealership, and has a clue about how to work on my Saab. He mentioned something about it probably having its motor disengaged? Heck, I dunno.
To make a long story longer, I’m supposed to take my car up there and drop it off for the day so the guy can piddle around with it to see how to fix the problem. (Angie - whatcha doin’ Tuesday? I would need to call them to see if that day is okay…)
I might have a convertible again before the nice weather is gone! Whoo-hoo!
A couple other highlights for the day:
- totally in and out of the License Bureau within 10 minutes.
- Trish and Tom’s mom came out with the video of the 4D sonogram, which was crazy cool!!
- Friends of ours came out to the house for a nice BBQ and good conversation
- and in the process, fixed the wireless connection
- we had apple pie a la mode for desert - YUMMY!
