The new hospital bed is here and put together.
They delivered it and set it up ‘even though the paperwork isn’t completed’ yet.
They gave us an upgraded brand new frame instead of the one that insurance covers.  They said the upgrade was ‘on them’.
Not that the upgrade is an amazing feature… but it is more than [...]

I just paid off my car.  I had two years worth of payments left.  I don’t anymore.
My smaller credit card is paid off also.
My larger credit card will be paid off next week… (my payment was due yesterday, and I didn’t have the means to pay it all off.  So, I made the minimum required [...]

We got Tom’s shower chair last night. It should work out just great. We’re excited to get to use it!!

PS - I need some stocking holders thingees. These are being held up by ornament hooks… not real affective if there is a slight breeze, even. And, one day I’m going to break down and buy a tree skirt instead of wadding up a sheet underneath there (does anyone else do that?!).

Everything went off without a hitch, thank goodness.  Our wonderful friends started filling in and out all night long, keeping me very busy playing hostess.  We had a stage set up in the back yard for the bands to play, and had our first (and only) noise complaint by 3:30 PM.  When the Sheriff came [...]
