I hate to vacuum. Despise. Loathe. And, technically, I should totally be vacuuming right now. Yet, I figure, we’ve got to move some stuff around tomorrow before the benefit gets going anyhow. So, why not wait until tomorrow when that stuff is out of the way… right?
C’mon. Tell me its okay to blow off vacuuming until the last minute.
Besides, I figure, with all the people coming in and out of my house tomorrow, its really pointless to vacuum anyhow.
Well, I’d get around the litter box taken care of, because my darned cats don’t know how to keep litter IN the box to save their lives.
But, the rest of the living room? Not necessary, imho.
…
Fine. I’ll go vacuum the damned living room. Stop looking at me that way.
Stop it.
Quit.
Seriously!!

I’m here to help. So, when I saw these shoes on Amazon, I immediately thought I should let my blogging friends know about them.
I mean, c’mon… they’re SHOES, firstly.
Secondly, they clean for you!

You know you want to try them…
Heh!

- I dusted the bedroom.
- And allllll the nik naks in the bedroom.
- I think I’m allergic to dust.
- Maybe I’m just allergic to cleaning.
- I organized my desk.
- FINALLY.
- I didn’t mess with the lower shelves on the desk, though.
- Shut up about it.
- No, really. Shut up about it.
- I switched the calendar on my desk to November 3, because I suck at remembering to flip it and didn’t want it to be stuck on April for the party.
- I cut in the living room wall last night, so I could finish painting it today.
- I don’t have any roller naps.
- I cannot finish painting the living room wall without a roller nap.
- Is is spelled ‘nap’ or ‘knap’?
- I think the blower motor on my furnace won’t turn off.
- It got down to 38 degrees last night.
- That’s 3.3 degrees for you, Blue.
- We have to find a way to store all the plants inside and still have room for the benefit.
- That should be interesting.
- For only wearing 4 different pairs of shoes, I have a lot of other shoes hanging around.
- I tried on my bridesmaid dress last night.
- It fits, thank God!
- I’m scattered.
- I’m done.
Ooooh, you want a new picture of the desk?
Okay. Calm down.

I’ve called about keg prices. We’re looking at $80 - $90 a piece.
Someone suggested a silent auction for the benefit, but I wasn’t quite sure that I wanted to put the work into it. But, I did start thinking about a raffle. Maybe if I just get a couple different items, instead of the whole slew of stuff we had the last time, it would be less to organize.
So, I was thinking that everyone gets one raffle ticket for coming. And, then they could purchase more tickets for $1 a piece… that way, if there is something that they really want to win, they can increase their chances by buying more tickets.
In fact, I started thinking about stuff that I already have around the house… which really isn’t a lot. But, I raffle off a couple of the t-shirts from Tom’s 40th birthday party, and maybe I can figure out how to set up a photo package to be used in the spring (since I don’t have a ’studio’, they’d have to be outdoor photos). If I could pull together a couple more items.
Well, and find some raffle tickets…
Anyway - does anyone have a couple ideas of things I might have laying around the house to raffle?
Should I have the photography package be the ‘high price’ item?
Should I only have the photography and the t-shirts? I was thinking that I should have a couple ‘mid price’ items.
We’re working with limited space, so I’m trying to keep it as simple as possible.
I need someone else’s brain in on this, please.

- I messed with my ‘About Me’ page, and decided to change it to a FAQ.
- If you have and Q’s to add, let me know via email or comments.
- I have no more points to bullet.
- But I’m going to ramble on here for a little bit.
- That way, it makes it look like the bullets were needed.
- See, you have to use bullets.
- Everyone on the ‘net is doing it.
- Its the new kewl thing to do.
- Do you use bullet points at least once a week?
- You really should.
- I keep trying to type ‘buttel’ instead of ‘bullet’.
- I think this is a problem.
- If I had a therapist, I’d totally talk to them about it.
- But I don’t.
- I think this list is long enough now.
- Don’t forget to check out my new FAQ.

I might have some exciting photos to post tonight. (Okay - exciting might not be the term you would use. But, its totally the term I would use.)
I’m still not going to say anything about it, just in case it all goes to hell before it get started. I don’t know how it could… but, just in case.
