This thing is driving me crazy.

Again.

I’m using SmartFTP that I downloaded from the internet. I’ve used it before with no problems.

But, since changing towers, I lost all my login information… cuz I’m not super smart like that… remembering all that stuff on my own.

Point being: I cannot log in to this SmartFTP thingee to add plugins to my blawg. Can someone tell me how to find my user name and password for this stuffs?

PS - I am not crazy intelligent when it comes to this, obviously. Please use small, one syllable words when answering this question for me.

Thanks.

Updated to jump up and down and thank Laci because she’s super smart and I’m no so smart and and helped me and she fixed the problem, which wasn’t really a problem, it was operator error, which I’m totally man enough (even though I am a woman) to admit that it was completely my fault and she helped me lots and lots.

  • I find it incredibly odd that someone googled ‘mature boobs on flickr’ and made their way to my blog.  Seriously?  Does this sound anything like me or my blog content?  Strange.
  • I bought the movie Enchanted and still haven’t watched it yet.  Watching a movie isn’t something I like to rush.  I like to snuggle in and laze around while watching and after I’m done with a movie.  I’ve not really had time to do that yet.
  • I bought a new blow dryer, a flat iron, and some goop for my hair.  These three things somehow made my hair look amazing when the chick at the salon used them.  I’m not a girlie girl and don’t know how to work these devices properly.  I wonder how it’ll look when I’m done.  (PS - I don’t even know if the ‘goop’ I got is the ‘goop’ she used at the salon.)
  • This may be comical.
  • (How is it that I can decorate millions of cakes, but I have no comprehension of how to use a circular brush, let alone lacking the dexterity to operate one?!)
  • Project Maintaining Eyebrows is a little underwhelming yet potentially hazardous, in my opinion.  There hasn’t been a lot to maintain, therefore I can see myself getting lax in maintaining them and having to religiously pay someone else to wax them.
  • The St. John’s Wort has definitely improved my sleeping since I’ve started taking it.  The first two nights I took it, my eyes were glued shut the next days.  Very interesting, if you ask me.  I don’t know if its the St. John’s Wort that has eased my anxiety, or the fact that I had just had a major melt down before I started taking it, but I’m feeling a little better.
  • I purchased a new computer tower on Tuesday.  All that Vista stuff is a little irksome at the very beginning, but overall I’m enjoying my new tower.  Don’t ask me for specifics on it, I don’t know.  Oh, okay… its this one.   Considering I don’t do anything important on my computer and that I have a decent sized external hard drive, this one seemed just fine to me.  Its all Greek to me, anyhow.
  • Elizabeth’s bridal shower is Saturday.  We’re having a wine tasting and she’s going to open presents.  We’re going to go out for a couple drinks afterwards.  Okay, in saying ‘We’, I mean ’she’.  I’m Elizabeth’s DD.  I sure hope she has a great time and gets lots of good presents!  I’ll be taking photos, but won’t promise any of them will get put on the ‘net.  We’ll have to see.
  • Tom updated his blog.  Which, obviously, is the reason that I’m updating mine.  I can’t let him have a newer post than me.  It’ll give me a complex.  (I’m totally kidding.  Well, about the ‘complex’ part, anyhow.)  Go tell him hello.  Maybe it’ll convince him to blog more…

The new hospital bed is here and put together.

They delivered it and set it up ‘even though the paperwork isn’t completed’ yet.

They gave us an upgraded brand new frame instead of the one that insurance covers.  They said the upgrade was ‘on them’.

Not that the upgrade is an amazing feature… but it is more than what we had.  And, they didn’t have to give it to us…

Yelling does get things accomplished sometimes.

When you have to call a medical supply company for the millionth time in a month to figure out what the hold up is in replacing a broken hospital bed because they’ve never called you and told you that they’ve been receiving the wrong paperwork from your would-do-anything-to-help doctor, its time to play the ‘You’re affecting his quality of life’ card.

Its also time to get the boss’s name and discuss in an elevated tone about needing to hire some more employees because they’re allowing people to suffer because they don’t want to pay another person’s paycheck.  Having one employee by themselves in the store to manage walk-in customers and telephone calls is ridiculous - especially when dealing with medical issues and insurance companies!

Seriously.

(If this post makes no sense, just nod and agree:  Run-around = not happy)

I’m tired of trying to think of titles that go along with my posts…

  • My furnace stopped working today.  So, after looking it over and knowing I had no idea what I was looking at, I had to call a service man… on a weekend.  If there was any way that I thought I could of held out until tomorrow, I would of done it.  But, its been hovering around 5 degrees at night - and there is no way that Tom’s body can cope with that.  Anyhow, it cost me $210 for him to clean a wire which was hindering my furnaces ability to register to turn on… Great.
  • I worked more this last week at my part time job than I have all winter, it feels.  Ironically, it’ll all go towards the credit card bill that I charged the furnace repairs on.  Yay.
  • I literally haven’t done much this week at all, minus going to work.  I barely got over to my mom’s on Sunday night, and didn’t stay very long at all.  I was supposed to go see my Grandma this week, but didn’t manage to get out of the house to do it.  I’m going to see about stopping by her work on Tuesday to see if we can match schedules later in the week.
  • My cousin’s fiance is having twins in … April?  One boy and one girl.  My family is having a shower for her on Sunday.  If anyone has any baby stuff they want to give to someone who could use them, ship ‘em to me and I’ll pass them on.
  • Tom has posted twice on his blog within a week, I think.
  • My latest addiction is checking Craigslist nearly daily.  I’m not looking for anything, and haven’t gotten anything.  But, I don’t want to miss out… you know what I mean?  I’m hopeless.
  • I haven’t been blogging much, obviously.  But, unless you want to hear about my watching What Not To Wear, Rock of Love 2 or Scott Baio is 46 and Pregnant, you probably aren’t wanting me to blog right now.  (I don’t know why I’m addicted to these shows!!)

(did you like that title?)

Okay, okay, I renewed my flickr account.

I’m working on getting my house refinanced, which should save us money monthly.  Okay, obviously, if it doesn’t save me money monthly, the refinancing my house was pointless at this point in my life.  My credit card and my car will be paid off after I’m done with this refinancing.  Thats going to completely kick butt.

Originally when I applied for the loan to purchase this house, my credit wasn’t great.  So, I was given a higher interest rate.  Now, since its been nearly 2 years in the house and they realize that I’m not a credit risk anymore, they’re offering to lower my interest rate.  Of course, I jumped on board.  Who doesn’t like a lower interest rate.

(Its a fixed rate, calm down everyone.)

My concern with this refinance is how quickly that money will find other places it needs to be spent.  Do you know what I mean?

My short term goals, after all the paperwork is done, will be to pay off a couple outstanding hospital bills that I have, get my car in better condition and finally pay my personal property tax (which I will probably still wait to do until after my taxes are done).

My long term goals will be to not use my credit card unless absolutely necessary.  Also, I’d like to set aside some money monthly, in like one of those… oh, what are they called … savings account!  (Sorry, its been so long since I’ve used one of those, I forgot what it was called.)   I’d like to be able to save up some cash for some home improvements or maybe a vacation one day!

Are ya pickin’ up what I’m layin’ down? (I looooove saying that!)
I gotta take off.  Stuff to do, people to see… or something.

Oooh, Tom finally updated his blog.  Go tell him hello, okie?

I don’t follow politics.

At all.

I only know the overly publicized presidential candidates names.

I barely know which party they’re associated with. I definitely don’t know where they stand on the hot topic issues.

All that information is lost on me.

So, when I saw this quiz over at Tori’s blog, I thought I would jump on the band wagon to see where I rank.

Obviously, would not use this quiz as my final answer on how I would vote. But, I almost feel that we should change our voting system to one similar to this… that way we don’t get caught up in the hype of voting for the popular candidate.

I truly feel that a lot of people will vote for Hillary because she could be the first female in the white house, or vote for Obama because he would be the first African American in the white house… not based on what they stand for whatsoever.
